Welcome to North East Riding Club......    

NERC was founded in 1950 and has been affiliated to British Riding Clubs (BRC) for most of its 60 years! An active and competitive club (NERC has featured in BRC's top ten riding clubs UK-wide), we currently have around 130 members of all ages and abilities. Members are based all over Aberdeenshire with most club activities taking place within a 20-mile radius of Aberdeen.

At NERC, we believe (as per our constitution) in promoting good fellowship and in improving the standard of riding and horsemanship - both on and off the horse! Throughout the year we offer regular training sessions as well as specialist dressage, show jumping and cross country clinics. NERC only uses top quality trainers and training is subsidised to members.

We run a monthly Dressage Series from September to March and a range of other competitions, including team show jumping and two very successful showing shows, throughout the rest of the year.

NERC also participates in lots of team competitions and are always keen to get members of all levels involved.
